  1. That’s not what I was thinking… The are not sub $100 99.99 is more than 100 after taxes that’s so dumb…

  2. I hate how Sony always wins these videos, articles, polls when they create terrible products. The battery issues on my xm4’s is happening again with the xm5’s. How can you release a product for $300 that doesn’t stand the test of time (in some cases no time at all) and has battery drain as bad as it does. I want them to do better. (Checking out your other video for the master and dynamics for sure!)

  3. I really dont recommend the Galaxy Buds FE tbh. They can be quite uncomfortable (with and without wing tip) and even after a few days mine started buzzing/crackling when using ANC or Ambient Mode. They hurt my ears like hell even after just 20 minutes of using them.
Dont get me wrong, they have amazing sound and (when actually working) the ANC/Ambient Mode is amazing, but im not sure its worth risking the comfort and security of actually working.

  4. Please consider including the Cambridge Audio M100 for comparison in future as they beat hands down in practically all categories especially sound quality than other makes even some of those twice the price.

  5. Sony FAILS with earbuds, headphones, Bluetooth speakers with HIGH prices, bad battery life, serious problems…NOT cool, man.

  6. If sound quality is your main priority, the Devialet Gemini II should be considered, if price is not a factor.

  7. Why aren’t the Technics AZ80 mentioned here?
The reviews i’ve seen have all been awesome and i am 100% certain they would cancel out Sony XM5 both soundwise and no battery issues either.

  8. Don’t buy Sony. Battery dies and you are left with a very expensive paper weights. The overear are exquisite. I bought both because I wanted to have the best quality and long lasting I was bamboozled with the ear buds.

  9. Have had “the best” only for them to last about a year and kick the bucket. Ahem sony, Sennheiser.😠

  10. Dude, Sennheiser’s true wireless earbuds are REALLY underwhelming.
They sound muddy and have a very weird tuning. Just don’t buy them.
Not worth even if discounted 50%. They rely on the brand “name” instead of sound quality.

  11. I use some jabra elites and I quite like them. I have no real complaints although I have heard their bass isn’t the best. They have also lasted forever and have had very few issues unless they get in water, but I have dropped them in water and they still worked just had to dry.

  12. We watch TV when the kids go to sleep but have been using a Bluetooth adapter and earbuds. Just found out my new samsung TV can hook directly to the earbuds. We only use one ear each so we can hear other noises. Looking for your opinion on the best sounding earbuds for TV use without spending over $200. Thank you

  13. i had a pair of Anker soundcore liberty 4 NC, they were terrible, so much murky bass and the EQ couldnt fix it as it was like mud and not focused at all.
it might work for EDM but anything else and especially music with instruments it will just fail.

  14. BOSE QC II / ULTRA VS SONY XM5

I had the Bose QC II for 2 years and then I decided to switch to the Sony XM5.
I gave them back after 2 weeks of testing because they are not comfortable as the Bose.
The touch features on the Sony activate themselves when you put in the bud or adjust it (the music stops or it goes through the ANC modes).
The Bose touch controls are the best I tried, flawless, incredibly reactive and you can mirror pause, change song and volume on both buds. (very helpful if you wear only one buds)
The Sony sound quality is not better, I like strong bass and the Bose are slightly better at it, it’s more full and precise, the mid and high range are great on both but the sony are most customizable.
The Sony ANC works as good as good as the Bose except for the lover frequencies, like cars, where the Bose are better. The Sony have less white noise when there’s silence, you hear a slight hiss in the Bose. (But honestly, why use ANC if you are in complete silence?)
The only good point for the XM5 are the multi point connectivity, a bit more of battery life, case dimension and customisation of the app.
    I’ll buy the Ultra today.
UPDATE: Bought the Ultra and returned them for the Sennheiser Momentum 4.
The sound quality is absurd and the bass are punchy as f**.
Only downside is the fit the ANC that is not that great, but if you want buds to listen to music, these are the ones.
I also tried the Technics AZ80 and Nothing Ear (the 3rd and last model) and there is no comparison to sound qiality.
Sennheiser ist the best out of all of them.

  15. Sound quality with music is the most important thing for me. Also I have small AF ears. lol so often bigger buds literally stretch my ears and give me headaches.

  16. Does anyone know if the skullcandy dime 3 are any good? I’m looking for something that’s a bit cheaper maybe between 20 – 30 dollars so are those a good option?

  17. T.W.S. G9S, Bluetooth 5.1 Wireless Earphones Digital Devices Tws Touch Music Waterproof Gaming Headsets With LED Breathing Light Lol;l
My previous ones broke quickly and this was after 1 year sony mx4, and for that price, sry it’s not worth it

  18. OnePlus Buds3 and Oppo Enco Air3Pro should’ve been included as well. The Enco ones easily beat buds that cost more than double their price when it comes to sound quality!

  19. Bro I had the Sony xm5 earbuds and they are garbage I’m sorry but they are quieter then one of my AirPods together, I want true loudness and good quality and for them to be a hook design not bud

  20. I bought Realme t300 tws for 20$. Ofc its not in the video. That’s what i call budget level. I’m happy af 😅

  21. for me the best is real me air 5 pro
    why

    Highest frequency

  22. Can anyone recommend me any ear buds with good sound quality and a good mic that focuses my voice and has about 8 hrs of battery?

  23. Samsung galaxy buds fe dissapointed me big time twice(after just 3 weeks buzzing/gray noise kills your left ear) , rocking skull candy dime 3(for work), AirPods Pro 1st gen still going strong…

  24. I’ve had the Sony WF-1000XM4, actually I’ve had 2 pairs of them. They were really good earbuds for 2 or 6 months. They really do make good earbuds but there is no way I could justify spending that much money on another set of Sony earbuds.

Having bought the first set while traveling made replacing them when they failed impossible, or at least wildly impractical. Live and learn.

The second set lasted longer but again has ear buds with different yet very short battery life and a case that has charging problems. One ear bud works very well for up to 30 minutes while the other last 2 hours or so. When the case reports 100% charge it might charge both of these once, if you can get it to charge. Trying to get this set replaced under warranty when the problems originally started to appear after 5 months left me with another "sorry about your luck" situation.

  25. Sony is an absolute garbage corporation. Just quietly sweeping consumer fraud under the rug. As a reviewer, you should acknowledge this.

  26. I cannot choose between the Sony WF-1000XM5 and the new Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. I value sound quality, comfort and ANC the most. Can do do a suggestion? Please explain?

  27. I just returned the Nothing (a) earbuds. Great sound but only when ANC turned on and on high and mid, on low and adaptive the quality was like the free buds on a tourist bus. Awful. And the switches on the sides feel cheap.
Stay away from the Nothing …
Btw, the ANC was barely noticeable and only with a kitchen hood.
